This position includes teaching art classes across Grades 1 to 6, with the specific schedule and grade assignments determined based on school needs. The successful candidate will be passionate about fostering creativity and helping students explore artistic expression within a Christ centred learning environment.

Elementary Music Teacher

Calvin Christian School is accepting applications for an Elementary Music Teacher (0.84 FTE) for the 2026–27 school year.

This position includes teaching Kindergarten through Grade 6 music classes, as well as choir for Grades 3–6, within a vibrant Christ centered school community. The successful candidate will be passionate about nurturing musical skill, creativity, and joyful participation while supporting the faith formation of students. There may be an opportunity to increase teaching time for candidates interested in teaching additional subject areas.

The collegiate campus (7-12) is seeking applicants for:

High School French Teacher

Calvin Christian School invites applications for a Secondary French teaching position at our Collegiate campus for the 2026–27 school year.

This position includes teaching French at the middle school and high school level and supporting students in developing language proficiency, cultural understanding, and confidence in communication. We are seeking a passionate and engaging educator who loves working with adolescents and is excited to help students grow within a Christ-centered learning community.

High School Humanities Teacher

Calvin Christian School is accepting applications for High School Humanities teaching positions for Grades 9 to 12, beginning in the 2026 to 2027 school year.

These positions will involve teaching courses in English, Social Studies/History, and/or Bible, depending on the qualifications, experience, and interests of the successful candidate, as well as the scheduling needs of the school. There may also be opportunity to teach other elective courses, depending on the gifts and interests of the successful candidate.

Two positions are available:

  • One position at 0.80 to 1.00 FTE
  • One position at approximately 0.50 to 0.65 FTE

The successful candidates will be passionate about helping students grow as thoughtful readers, writers, and critical thinkers while engaging literature, history, and biblical perspectives through a Christian worldview.

Middle School Humanities Teacher

Calvin Christian School is accepting applications for a Middle School Humanities Teacher for Grades 7 to 8, beginning in the 2026 to 2027 school year.

This position will include teaching within the areas of English Language Arts and Bible, along with opportunities to teach elective courses in the arts such as visual arts and drama. The specific teaching assignment will be determined based on the qualifications and interests of the successful candidate, as well as the scheduling needs of the school.

The successful candidate will enjoy working with middle school students and will be passionate about helping them grow as readers, writers, thinkers, and creative learners within a Christ centred learning environment.
